Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
These Terms govern your use of CrossPay (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & verification
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You must complete identity verification (KYC) and provide accurate information. We may decline, limit, or close accounts to meet legal and risk requirements.
2. The Service
CrossPay lets you add funds in local currency, hold a US-dollar-denominated balance, send it to other users, and withdraw to a local bank account. Fiat conversion and custody are performed by licensed partners. CrossPay is not a bank.
3. Your account & security
Keep your PIN, device, and credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Fees & exchange rates
We display the exchange rate and all fees before you confirm a transaction. Rates may move until you confirm. The amounts shown at confirmation govern the transaction.
5. Transfers & limits
Limits apply based on your verification tier and applicable regulation. We may hold, review, or reverse transactions to comply with the law or investigate suspected fraud or error.
6. Stablecoin & risk disclosure
Your balance is held in a US-dollar stablecoin. While designed to track the US dollar, stablecoins carry risks including potential loss of peg, and exchange-rate movements between currencies. Digital-asset transfers are generally irreversible once settled.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use the Service for unlawful activity, money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctioned dealings, or any activity that violates applicable law or our partners' rules.
8. Cancellations & refunds
In-app transfers are instant and may not be reversible. Failed payouts are returned to your CrossPay balance. Pending invites unclaimed after the stated period are automatically refunded to the sender.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or risk concerns.
10. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossPay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable operating jurisdiction. We may update these Terms and will post changes here. Continued use means you accept the changes.
